Setenil de las Bodegas is a small town that I found on Pinterest (when in need of inspiration Pinterest won’t disappoint) a while back and I decided right then and there I had to go. It’s a completely white town, built into the mountain. This place is definitely a hidden gem. During our visit we only bumped in to two other tourists which made it feel more special and as if it was our secret. When walking down the narrow streets and alleyways you had no clue what treasures you would find around the corner.
Unless you are very adventurous I advise you to not drive all the way in to the town… We headed towards “centro”, folded in our side view mirrors and could still barely make it through the narrow streets. Luckily we got help from some friendly locals!
After Setenil we drove about 45 mins to the city of Ronda. We didn’t have much time to explore the city, but headed straight for the main attraction – Puente Nuevo.
